City Council Chambers

Columbia, South Carolina

The renovation to the Columbia City Hall (Old United States Court House and Post Office) included historic plaster repair, painting, lighting, a new audio visual system, and restoration of the previously hidden skylight. Studio 2LR worked closely with City staff to select a historically sensitive finish palette for the project.  The paint palette highlights the intricate plaster work while carpet and bench fabric colors and patterns introduced a subtle modern element.
