
12 Feb Studio 2LR Welcomes Gene Bell, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, to the Firm
Columbia, South Carolina (February 12, 2025) – Studio 2LR, a leading architecture and interior design firm, is pleased to announce that architect Gene Bell, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has joined the team.
With over 20 years of experience spanning high-profile projects in higher education and municipal markets, Gene brings a wealth of expertise and passion for design excellence to Studio 2LR. Also active in the community, he has sat on numerous local non-profit boards throughout his career. Gene currently serves on Historic Columbia’s Design Preservation Awards Committee and is a Trustee of the South Carolina Architectural Foundation, for which he is Treasurer.
A graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Design and Master of Architecture, Gene has built lasting relationships with clients and has been a part of the design team on numerous award-winning projects, including the Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Football Practice Facility for the University of South Carolina, the Harbison Theater for Midlands Technical College, and the Water and Wastewater Division Facility for the City of Columbia.
