USC College of Nursing Feasibility Study

Studio 2LR collaborated with the University of South Carolina on a feasibility study to renovate and expand the existing Williams-Brice Building for the College of Nursing. The project included a 45,000-square-foot, three-level addition featuring classrooms, meeting rooms, and offices, all connected by a central circulation spine. A new courtyard was also created between the existing building and the new structure to enhance user experience. The design of the addition responds to the surrounding building context, optimizing view and travel corridors while incorporating new access points for improved functionality and flow.

Following the feasibility study, the University put this project on hold.  It is currently not approved to move forward.
